As a cat lover there’s no question you should be watching My Cat From Hell, but this show has a much broader mission than just entertainment. It can help other people discover just how great the human-feline bond can be. In the show, Jackson helps people overcome the issues they are having with their cats, which might have otherwise led to the cat being given away, or worse, surrendered to a shelter where the cat’s future would likely be grim. Through behavioral changes and environmental modifications, he helps solidify the relationship between guardian and cat. The way we see it, this show can help keep more cats in happy homes — that means fewer homeless cats on the streets and reduced numbers of cats being killed in shelters. So spread the word to others outside the inner circle of cat lovers!

Happy New Year cat fans! Are you happy 2012 has arrived? Many people are! Me? Not really, the years seem to blend together when you’re a cat. In fact, the only reason I knew the New Year had arrived is because someone in the neighborhood let off a firework. This startled Eddie, our neighbor’s dog, and he ran straight into mother’s fence and knocked himself out cold. It caused quite the stir, so I went to investigate, and low and behold EVERYONE was wearing New Year’s party hats! Poor Eddie, I can’t imagine that’s how he wanted to start the year off. Let’s do the news! YouTube recently released its top videos of 2011 and guess what? Two of the top 10 videos featured cats! Booyah! Yes, a dog video made the list as well. It’s the Ultimate Dog Tease, which, if you’ve seen it, you know that the cat receives the DELICIOUS sounding dish towards the end. So, really, that means three star cats were in the top 10 YouTube videos of 2011. What does this mean? Cats are taking over the wo…we cats are very popular creatures! I mean, ask yourself, can you make it through your work week without watching at least one cute cat video? It’s not easy, is it? You know, I’m not such a bad actor myself. In fact, I was the extra to the extra of the real cat that’s seen briefly in the Broadway play, “Cats.” It’s true! Oh and my paw was used momentarily in a cat treat commercial back in the 90’s. The treats were called Crusty, Crunchy, Cat Treats. They’ve since been discontinued, but I’ll bet the commercial is still around. I’ll Google it and get back to you. Until next time, I’m
