"Due to the overwhelmingly pawsitive reaction to the KatKabin by our hospital mascots, we kept the house for a few days as we felt sad and guilty about taking it away from them. However, yesterday we sent the KatKabin on its way with a client whose indoor/outdoor cat will greatly benefit from having a safe, warm cat house to enjoy when he’s outside. Considering the reaction of all of the hospital cats to the KatKabin outdoor cathouse, I am certain my client’s cat will love it!"
Until next month, have fun with your feline companions! |
Greetings cats, cat lovers, cat families, and all other furry feline friends! Are ya ready for spring? I sure am, it has been cold where I live, and this is one cat who’d rather bask in the warm spring sun, than navigate the icy cold back porch of my mother’s new deck. Plus, I always seem to get splinters! So, the latest news… well apparently many of my cat friends haven’t been watching their weight! This new study by the folks at the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention says that 20% of cats in this country are obese. Of course, this doesn’t apply to me because I maintain my boyish figure, but still that’s a staggering statistic! I guess some owners are overfeeding their cats. My cousin Lou has a weight problem. I keep telling him he needs to cut back and workout with his ball of yarn, but he’s as stubborn as those animals that look like small horses. I think I’ll hide his food the next time I visit… Anyway, this
study
is a good wake-up call for all pet owners. Pet obesity is very real, and
it’s too bad not every cat can look like me- strong, muscular, and
as defined as a Roman sculpture, but with a touch of femininity.
This month's Cat Walk Model is Tiger. Remember,
every month, one of your cats is selected to be our Cat Walk Model. You
