Season’s greetings cat fans!

Brrr, is it getting cold or what? I must say, I love the holidays but could do without Mr. Jack Frost. Mother says he always comes around this time of year, but I’ve yet to make his acquaintance. If I did, I would give him a piece of my mind, that’s for sure!

It’s nearly Thanksgiving, which is fantastic because I LOVE all the attention from the company mother has over. It seems everyone needs to give ol’ Timmy a pat or a tickle or a massage, if I’m lucky. Ah, yes, it’s all so grand!

Except for the presence of mother’s six year-old nephew, Chauncey. The kid is twisted I tell ya. Last year, he cost me five of my nine lives. Needless to say, I’ll be avoiding Chauncey at all costs.

To the cat mobile…! Sorry, have always wanted to say that. To the news we go!

They finally found "Jack the Cat"! The guy had been roaming around JFK airport for two months causing his mother, Karen Pascoe, a great deal of heartache. Jack was supposed to accompany his mother to California on a American Airlines flight, but instead, forgot to use the restroom and unboarded the plane prior to take off. OK, I made that last part up, but that’s because I have no idea what Jack was thinking!

Poor guy went through a lot! I mean, they finally found him after he crashed through the ceiling inside a Custom and Border Patrol Room, but not before he lived on his own in and out of a large AIRPORT for two months. When they found him, he hadn’t been eating or drinking, like, at all. Two months without food or water?! I can’t go two hours without thinking about what mother is preparing for me to eat next.

Seriously, that’s one tough cat.

If there were a Cat vs. Wild show, Jack would be the star. If Jedediah Smith, the most well-known mountain man that ever lived, had a pet, Jack would be it. If Lewis and Clark needed a cat to help blaze a trail across the continental U.S., Jack would have raised his paw and said, ‘I’m game.’ If Ferdinand Magellan wanted… well, you get my point.

I’m glad to read he’s safe and back at home with his mom. Now I can finally unlike the “Jack The Cat is Lost in AA Baggage at JFK” Facebook page that has over 17,000 fans.

Maybe someday I’ll get to interview Jack. If so, I’ll have to ask him, ‘Jack, would ya have preferred to take the train?’
