Brinsea's egg candler keeps your eggs cool

Products have come up with a neat solution to the
danger
of heating the embryo during prolonged egg candling. |
In
the past the high levels of illumination needed to see
embryonic development inside incubating eggs has meant
high levels of heat - risking overheating the growing
embryo. The new 'Cool-Cone' (patent applied for) fitted
to all Brinsea High Intensity Cool-lume candling light
eliminates this risk. The light from a high efficiency
halogen bulb is passed through the clear cone which
both focuses the light, producing a more intense beam,
and absorbs the heat preventing any significant warming
of the egg.
Ideal
for candling any species, the High Intensity Cool-lume,
with its very high light output, is particularly suited
to examination of dark or speckled eggs where maximum
illumination is required - even for extended periods.
