20 Eco joins the best selling Octagon 20 Advance
range launched in 2008
 Following
the success of the Octagon
20 ADVANCE introduced in 2008, Brinsea
is excited to introduce a simpler more affordable version:
the Octagon
20 ECO.
It
provides the same tough insulated cabinet, refined airflow
and temperature distribution as its brother but is fitted
with a simple high quality electronic temperature control
instead of a microprocessor. With a starting price of
$100 it is a durable alternative to Styrofoam incubators
and ideal for first time breeders of poultry, game,
waterfowl as well as reptiles.
The Octagon
20 ADVANCE is the latest generation of
Brinsea's best selling 24 egg incubator. A completely
new design, the Octagon 20 ADVANCE improves on its predecessors
in every critical area of performance in order to justify
Brinsea’s claim that it takes the guesswork out
of incubation.
Two versions are available: Octagon 20 ADVANCE and the
Octagon 20 ADVANCE EX.
The Octagon 20 ADVANCE now sports a purpose designed
microprocessor control providing accurate readout of
both incubation temperature (in °C or °F) and
humidity along with precise temperature control and
high and low temperature alarms along with automatic
egg turning. The cabinet is injection moulded from high
grade ABS for durability and ease of cleaning and the
base is foam insulated for improved temperature distribution
and electrical efficiency.
In addition to the Octagon 20 ADVANCE features, the
Octagon 20 ADVANCE EX version (designed for exotic birds)
also includes foam egg dividers to protect fragile eggs
and full automatic humidity control with the external
Humidity Pump.
