Control of incubator humidity is the no.1 cause of confusion
and misunderstanding in incubation procedure,
frequently resulting in poor hatching rates.
The
solution to the problem is one of Brinsea's digital
humidity management modules incubator humidifiers.
ADVANCE
Humidity Pump $149.00 BUY
NOW
Specifically designed to work seamlessly with the new
Octagon 20 ADVANCE digital incubator (and only the Octagon
20 ADVANCE), this humidity pump includes a peristaltic
pump and an external water reservoir which eliminates
the chances of water in the incubator harboring bacteria.
The unit stands beside the incubator, and is connected
to it by an electrical lead and a flexible tube for
water supply.
Humidity settings are controlled directly from the incubator
intuitive digital menu and
the achieved relative Humidity (RH) is continuously
shown on the incubator’s digital display. The
Octagon 20 ADVANCE incubator coupled with the Humidity
Pump effectively maintains the humidity level precisely
at the level the user sets irrespective of changes in
room humidity and so overcomes problems that can commonly
lead to eggs failing to hatch – especially in
the latest stages of incubation.
The
Humidity Pump module can be purchased as part of the
Octagon 20 Advance EX model or separately as an upgrade
from Octagon 20 Advance to the Octagon 20 Advance EX.

The module suits most fan-assisted incubators
(not compatible with the new Octagon 20 ADVANCE) and
provides continuous, direct and highly accurate relative
humidity (% RH) readout. It also controls the amount
of water evaporated within the incubator to maintain
the humidity level set by the user.
The
H22 Humidity Management Module features a digital display
which clearly and continuously shows the Relative Humidity
(RH) within the incubator, allowing you to both accurately
monitor and if necessary adjust the humidity level in
forced draught incubators as required, in order to help
ensure maximum hatching success.
The Humidity Management Module will compensate for fluctuations
in ambient humidity level, day or night, and allows
the user complete control over incubation environment.
The unit stands beside the incubator, and is connected
to it by a thin electrical lead and a flexible tube
for water supply. The sensor mounts through a 25mm (one
inch) diameter hole in the incubator wall, pre-cut on
all Brinsea forced draft incubators. The H22 is suitable
for many incubator brands holding up to about 1000 eggs.
For
larger incubators, the H222 provides the same facilities
but with a larger pumping capacity, suitable for incubators
up to about 10,000 eggs.
